Materials Used
The outershell material for the jacket shall be a waterproof and moisture vapor permeable constructed with a 100% nylon shell fabric W. L. Gore GORE-TEX Paclite laminate, or equal. The shell material shall be waterproof and windproof. The outershell material shall be quick drying when it become wet or damp and shall be durable to repeated launderings.
-Waterproof: Liquid water doesn't penetrate the durably waterproof GORE-TEX¢ç membrane, keeping you dry and comfortable, allowing for extended operational effectiveness.
-Windproof: The windproof GORE-TEX¢ç membrane blocks the wind, keeping you warmer and more protected from sand, rain, snow, and ice. Reducing heat loss from wind chill can increase your ability to operate for longer periods of time in harsh conditions.
-Breathable: The breathability of the GORE-TEX¢ç membrane allows moisture vapor from perspiration to escape, keeping you drier and more comfortable.
